ROAD TO REMAIN OPEN – CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY – POLICE PRESENT

All construction from 7am until 5pm unless stated otherwise

Collingwood Road, Eaton Court, and Farrell Lane – Monday (5/13), the contractor’s crew will be performing milling operations. 

Stone Lane, Harness Lane, and Meadow Lane - Monday (5/13), the contractor’s crew will be performing paving operations.

Topanemus Road - Tuesday (5/14), the contractor’s crew will be performing milling and paving operations on Topanemus Road in the vicinity of Julian Way. 

Amherst Road, Collingwood Road - Wednesday (5/15) through Friday (5/17), the contractor’s crew will be performing paving operations on Amherst Road, Collingwood Road, and the adjoining roadways. 

Ryan Road – Hot mixed asphalt (HMA) paths began on Wednesday (4/24) with concrete starting Thursday (4/25). This work will extend through the week of 5/6 with paving operations to commence Monday, 5/20.

UPCOMING ROAD PROJECTS

Robertsville Road - Marlboro has received funding from the NJ DOT Municipal Aid Program for the Robertsville Road improvement project (Manalapan to Freehold border) in the amount of $209,528.  This project includes the milling, reconstruction and overlay of the existing roadway surface along with drainage improvements, installation of ADA curb ramps and detectable warning surfaces, traffic striping, the reconstruction of all inlets and stormwater management improvements. The project is currently in the design phase and construction is anticipated by Spring 2025.

Ticetown Road - Marlboro has been selected to receive funding from the NJ DOT Municipal Aid Program for the Ticetown Road improvement project in the amount of $246,850.  This project includes the milling, reconstruction and overlay of the existing roadway surface along with drainage improvements, installation of ADA curb ramps and detectable warning surfaces, traffic striping, the reconstruction of all inlets and stormwater management improvements. The project is currently in the design phase and 2024 construction is anticipated.

Harbor Road -  Roadway improvements on Harbor Road between Tennent Road and Route 79 are anticipated to begin this Spring with final paving to be completed in the Summer of 2024.  Harbor Road will be closed while the contractor is on site with detours in place, during which time Police Officers will be on site to assist motorists.

School Road East -  The resurfacing of School Road East between Brushneck Road and the Colts Neck border is scheduled to be completed in the Summer of 2024.  Upon issuance of permits from the NJDEP, the remainder of the roadway between Brushneck Road and Dutch Lane will be resurfaced in coordination with stream cleaning and other drainage improvements.  School Road East will be closed while the contractor is on site with detours in place, during which time Police Officers will be on site to assist motorists.
