  • New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG) has partnered with Precision Pipeline Solutions (PPS) to conduct a meter exchange program beginning now through Spring, 2018. Not all NJNG customers will have their meters exchanged.  Only specific, individually identified meters are being exchanged.  The contractor, PPS, will call customers whose meters will be exchanged and the customers will also receive letters.
When the meter exchange takes place, the gas service to the customers’ appliance will be shut off and a representative from PPS will need to enter the home to relight the appliances.  The customer can make arrangements with PPS to have the gas service restored at a later time if the customer is not home during the work.  There is no cost to the customer for these services. Residents will be notified if their meter is scheduled for replacement.  Note that the employees carry an ID card; ask to see it before letting someone into your home. The NJNG notice can be found HERE.   For more information, please call NJNG.

  • The Marlboro K-8 School District will be holding a special election on September 26, 2017.  Any registered voter may vote by mail.  Please see the advertisement from the County Clerk HERE.  Residents have until September 5 to register to vote and until September 19 to apply for a Mail-In ballot.  The application for a Vote by Mail Ballot is HERE.  The application to register to vote is HERE.

MARLBORO TOWNSHIP WATER UTILITY DIVISION HYDRANT FLUSHING – Fall 2017
Please note that the semi-annual hydrant flushing will begin on September 11 through September 29 from 8pm to 1am. In respect to the High Holidays, hydrant flushing will not occur on the evenings of September 20, 21,22 and 29 . Hydrant Flushing is done twice each year to remove any sediment that may accumulate in low flow areas of our water distribution system. This operation maintains the overall excellent water quality in our distribution system and ensures that each fire hydrant operates properly. Customers may notice lower water pressure and a slight discoloration of water as flushing is performed in your area. This discoloration is not harmful and will clear up if you let the water run a few extra minutes. For questions, please call Customer Service Monday to Thursday from 9am to 4:30pm at (732) 536-0200 Ext. 1816.

The regularly scheduled  meeting of the Affordable Housing  Committee has been  cancelled for Tuesday August 15, 2017.
The next meeting will be September 19, 2017, at Town Hall.

Dear Marlboro Resident:
We are very lucky to have two First Aid Squads that provide free emergency services for our Town. The Marlboro and Morganville First Aid & Rescue Squads are made up entirely of volunteers that are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. While we hope we never need their services, they provide a critical resource when we do. Their flyer with donation instructions is attached. I hope that you will answer their call and make a tax deductible donation to the First Aid & Rescue Squad that serves your home.
Mayor Jon Hornik
