PET LICENSE DEADLINE
Dog and Cat licenses were due in January. If you own a pet and have not renewed for 2017, we must receive renewal by 4/30/17 in order to avoid a $15 late fee. Pet License Application and instructions can be found HERE

Drug Take Back Day –Saturday April 29 from 10am -2pm, Marlboro Police Department will participate in National Drug Take Back Day.  Bring your unused or expired medications (pills or patches only; no sharps or liquids) to the collection area in front of the Marlboro Justice Center (Police Department) located in the Municipal Complex off Wyncrest Road.  This service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.  This public safety initiative rids your home of drugs that are susceptible to misuse.  Marlboro Township houses a permanent collection box in the lobby of the Police Department that is accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  For more, please visit DEA Drug Take Back or call Marlboro Police at 732-536-0100 ext. 1640.


Arbor Day Saturday, April 29 at 10 am. Please join Mayor Jon Hornik and the Shade Tree Committee as we celebrate Arbor Day at the Marlboro Community Garden.   The Community Garden is located on 82 Tennent Road adjacent to the Little Fields and Morganville Fire Company.  Our annual  ceremonial tree will be planted as a Mayoral Proclamation is being read.   Free tree tublings will be distributed to those who attend (while supplies last).  We hope to see you Saturday!

MEMORIAL DAY PARADE - Marlboro Township is proud to honor those that served with our Memorial Day Parade to be held on Sunday, May 21 at 2pm.  The Veterans and Volunteers Committee is seeking local businesses, community groups and organizations that would like to a part of this annual tradition.  For more information and to participate in the parade, please see FLYER

Monmouth County Announces Paper Shredding days beginning in March.  The truck will be in Marlboro on September 24, but any date is open to all county residents.  See FLYER for more. 


Pet Licenses are required by state law for pets 6 months and older. Renewals are due in the beginning of each year and registration of a new pet should occur within 10 days of acquiring a pet or moving into Marlboro Township. Per ordinance, a $15 late fee will be assessed as of May 1.  Subject to $50 fine as of July 1. Link to Pet License Application HERE.


Help Your Community Exercise Their Right to Vote! Monmouth County Board of Elections is seeking Poll Workers.  See Flyer and Application for more. 

The Marlboro Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT) is looking volunteers.  The Marlboro Township Police Department, in conjunction with 180 Turning Lives Around, has formed a team of highly trained volunteers to address issues of domestic violence within the community. The (DVRT) was organized to meet with victims of domestic violence immediately after a call for assistance to the police department. The volunteer citizens receive special training in several areas of domestic violence and respond to police headquarters to provide comfort and advocacy to victims of domestic  violence. Dear Marlboro Resident:
We are very lucky to have two First Aid Squads that provide free emergency services for our Town. The Marlboro and Morganville First Aid & Rescue Squads are made up entirely of volunteers that are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. While we hope we never need their services, they provide a critical resource when we do. Their flyer with donation instructions is attached. I hope that you will answer their call and make a tax deductible donation to the First Aid & Rescue Squad that serves your home.

  • Department of Public Works (DPW): Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm. Phone 732 536-0188. DPW office is the 2nd left off Township Drive (Public Works Way).

  • Engineering, Planning and Zoning Divisions: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.  Monday to Thursday, enter through the Town Hall Administration Building main lobby.   
    On Fridays, access through the Employee Entrance to Town Hall administrative offices.

  • Construction Code Enforcement Division (Building Permits) Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm. Phone 732 536-0200 ext. 1800.   Enter through the back entrance of Town Hall.

  • Department of Recreation:  Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.  Phone 732 617-0100.  Located in the Recreation Center at 1996 Recreation Way.

  • Marlboro Township Division of Police is open 24/7 and is located at 1979 Township Drive in the Justice Center.  Call 732 536-0100.  In the event of an emergency dial 9-1-1. 

All other Township offices are open Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm.  Phone 732 536-0200.
