PET LICENSE DEADLINE APRIL 30
FREE RABIES CLINIC APRIL 22
Pet licenses are due for renewal January of each year. A copy of the application with instructions and fees may be found HERE or on our town website. Please note that a $15 per animal late fee will be assessed beginning May 1 through June 30. As of July 1, a $50 fine applies. Pet licenses and the appropriate fee can either be mailed or brought into Town Hall.
The annual Free Rabies Clinic will be held on Saturday, April 22, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm in the Public Works Garage located at the Marlboro Township Municipal Complex.
If your pet requires a Rabies Vaccination to renew the license, you can re-new your pet license for 2017 at the Rabies Clinic. Your application should be completed in advance of the clinic in order to avoid long wait times at this very well attended public service. You can also use this opportunity to deliver your pet license even if your pet has already been vaccinated.
Dogs are required by state law to be properly licensed and immunized and, for the safety of others, will require proof of licensing to be allowed into the Marlboro Township Dog Park located at the Recreation Center. This event, sponsored by the Monmouth County Board of Health, is a valuable opportunity to make sure that your dogs and cats are properly immunized.
If you have any questions or have acquired a new pet or a prior pet is no longer with you, please see the application or call (732) 536-0200 ext. 1245.
