Dear neighbor,

When I was first elected in 2007, I put out a general call for volunteers.  The response was overwhelming. It was gratifying and exciting that so many residents wanted to be a part of moving Marlboro forward.  As we quickly move towards 2016, I am again putting out the call for volunteers.  As I have said countless times, I don’t care what political party you’re from, where you live or who you voted for.  If you want to volunteer and have the best interest of Marlboro at heart, we have a spot for you.

There are committees to meet everyone’s interest and expertise. Currently, there are openings on the Affordable Housing Commission, Environmental Commission, Ethics Board, Historical Commission, Youth Exchange program, Swim and Recreation Utility, the Swim Club subcommittee, the Planning Board, Shade Tree, Green Team, the Alliance for the Prevention of Drug Abuse, the Senior Advisory Committee and the Economic Development Committee. To learn more about these committees, please visit the Township website and click on the ‘Boards and Committee’ link at the top of the page.

The Township homepage has a quick link to ‘Volunteers’ on the left hand side.  To be considered for an appointment, please complete the required Citizens Service Act Form and send it with a letter of interest or resume via email to clerk@marlboro-nj.gov or by hand/regular mail to: Marlboro Town Hall, Office of the Clerk, 1979 Township Drive, Marlboro, NJ  07746.

We could not have accomplished all that we have without the tireless effort and commitment of our volunteers.  I am grateful for every person who takes time away from their businesses and their families and have worked together to make Marlboro such a great place to live and raise a family.  I hope you will consider joining us.  For more information, please call my office at 732-536-0200 ext. 1200.
