Dear Resident:

Since I announced the launch of our first on-line Pothole Repair Reporting Pothole two weeks ago, Marlboro Township’s Department of Public Works has filled 2,450 potholes on 200 miles of roadway. More than 225 residents submitted an on-line pothole form and 85 residents called in a pothole location. This, in addition to reports made by our DPW employees and Police Department, allows us to direct resources to the areas most in need.

The Pothole Portal will remain on our Township homepage throughout the year allowing you to easily make a report. The on-line form requires you to provide your name, address, and contact information as well as details of the pothole location such as the nearest house number or cross street.  This will enable DPW to locate and repair the pothole as quickly as possible. Of course, you may always call DPW directly at (732) 536-0188.

The link to the ‘Pothole Portal’ can be found on a button located on the right side of the township’s home page at www.marlboro-nj.gov The reporting form may be accessed directly here http://www.marlboro-nj.gov/pothole-report.html

Potholes following any winter are expected, but this year’s severe weather took an enormous toll on roads throughout New Jersey. DPW will continue to repair the potholes throughout the winter months, weather permitting.  We thank you for your assistance and cooperation as we work to repair Marlboro roadways.

Mayor Jon Hornik
