RE: BRUSH COLLECTION TO RESUME

Dear Resident,

In reviewing the long range weather forecast, the Marlboro Office of Emergency Management (OEM) has authorized the Department of Public Works (DPW) to resume curbside brush collection. Please note that anticipated weather events can cause OEM to postpone or cancel curbside collection at any time. Notice of schedule adjustments will be made via email, social media and the Town website.

The brush collection will continue as per the schedule printed on the Township Recycling Calendar mailed to your home and available on line. Please see the letter from DPW regarding the winter brush collection HERE.

Please note that for the safety of all residents, brush must be placed on the curb and not in the roadway. Placing brush and other debris in the street can exacerbate flooding, blocks sewer outlets, and is dangerous to vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists. Brush should not be placed curbside more than one week prior to the first day of your zone’s scheduled collection week.

We remind you that leaf collection is complete until spring and no leaves may be curbside at this time. The Township Recycling center accepts brush and leaf debris throughout the year with no permit or fee. The recycling center is open Monday and Wednesday from 8am – 1:30 pm and Saturdays from 8am – 4pm.

Thank you for your cooperation.
