Committee to Review ISP Options for Marlboro

 Dear Marlboro Resident,

This past week we had a virtual Town Hall with Optimum/Altice to discuss their current service and customer service issues. While Optimum provided information on their future plans, including Fiber to the Home, it became clear during the meeting that a viable alternative to Optimum could help to address rising costs and service concerns, and at least ease the frustrations of customers feeling at the mercy of one Internet Service Provider.

To that end, I am announcing a call for volunteers to serve on a committee to explore options to bring competition and service reliability to all Marlboro residents with a goal of presenting a report to the Township Administration. 

Residents with a background in the telecommunications industry is preferred, especially in broadband, 5G and ISPs.
