ROAD CONSTRUCTION NOTICE – Week of August 9, 2021

The Marlboro Summer/Fall Road program is underway and construction crews are performing concrete work at various locations throughout the town.  Updates will be sent throughout the road program season. 

We remind residents that, as per the recycling calendar (LINKED HERE), the road program is in progress and no lawn debris should be curbside until late September as crews pave, patch, repair potholes, and do street sweeping.

Occasionally, a road closure will prevent a scheduled recycling collection.  Should this occur, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  with your address and they will confirm a makeup date. 

ROAD TO REMAIN OPEN – CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY

These roads will remain accessible during construction, although motorists are advised to use caution through the work zone. The scheduled time frame for this work is weather-dependent, and every effort will be made to minimize any inconvenience to residents during this time. 

Gary Drive - Wednesday (8/11) through Thursday (8/12) from 7am-5pm, construction crews will be on Gary Drive performing curb restoration as necessary and installing handicap ramps at all intersections.  

Quebec Road - Friday (8/13) from 7am-5pm, construction crews will be on Quebec Road performing curb restoration as necessary and installing handicap ramps at all intersections.  

Adams and Barclay Streets - Tuesday (8/10) and Thursday (8/12) from 7am-5pm, construction crews will be on Adams Street and Barclay Street performing milling and paving operations.

Lisa Lane, Devonshire Drive and Ardsley Place - Please be advised, on Wednesday (8/11) and Friday (8/13) from 7am-5pm, construction crews will be on Lisa Lane, Devonshire Drive, and Ardsley Place performing milling and paving operations.  

ROAD CLOSED – CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY – POLICE PRESENT

Church Road –Monday (8/9) through Tuesday (8/10) from 7am-5pm, construction crews will be on Church Road performing curb restoration as necessary and installing handicap ramps at all intersections between Floyd Wyckoff Road and Gordons Corner Road.  Detours will be in place and Police Officers will be site to assist motorists and residents. 

 

Falson Lane - Starting Monday August 2 and for two weeks following, Falson Lane will be closed from 7am-4pm Monday-Friday. Digital and detour signs are posted. The detour will be from Texas Road, to Greenwood Road, to Ticetown Road, to Bernadette Drive for entry into the Woods Development. This is a daytime closure and Falson Lane will be opened each day at 4pm.
