WINTER STORM WARNING – Update #2

Dear Resident,

The snow has moved out of the area and the Winter Storm Warning has expired at 10am.  We ask that, if possible, you stay off the road allowing snow removal operations and public safety vehicles clear access.

The Department of Public Works treated the roads in advance of the storm and continues snow removal throughout our 200 miles of roadway.  We remind residents that all vehicles and obstructions such as basketball hoops must remain off the street allowing for snow plow access.

RECYCLING UPDATE:

Zone 3 – Recycling not collected yesterday will be collected today.  Leave items curbside.
Zone 4 - Scheduled for today will be collected tomorrow. Place items curbside not later than 7am Saturday morning.

When clearing snow, do not blow or shovel snow from your vehicles or property onto the street.  Doing so creates icy conditions on cleared roadways. Pile shoveled snow onto your lawn.

We ask that if possible, you stay off the roads allowing clear passage for plows and emergency vehicles.  Barring any changes, this will be the last update for this weather event.  Thank you for your cooperation.  Enjoy the snow day.
