Marlboro Farmers Market – Meet the Vendors
Open Sunday, July 4 from 9am -Noon
Dear Resident,
The Marlboro Farmers Market will be open on Sunday, July 4 from 9am with an early close of noon. Last week residents told us they enjoyed our ‘Meet the Vendor’ letter and, as vendors vary week to week, below are the vendors scheduled to attend the market this Sunday.
Alternate Ending Brewery – New to our market, we welcome this local brewery. Try a sample and then buy your favorite…or two. This week:
- Double Secret Probation, a Double IPA 9.1%.
- All-American Amazonian 2 (could there be a more perfect name for a labor day BBQ beer?) Berliner Hafer 6.5% Passion Fruit/Toasted Coconut/Tahitian Vanilla
- Royal Rug- A German Pilsner 4.8%
- What If? Flagship IPA 7.5%
- Chuckle Heads - Double IPA 8.2%
Bakers Bounty – Bread and baked goods made the old fashioned way, this New Jersey bakery helped establish NYC Greenmarkets and NJ Farmers Markets 40 years ago. Their cases are filled with breads, pies, crumb cake, cookies, brownies, focaccia, and more.
Cherry Grove Farm – A variety of hamburgers, hotdogs and steaks for your grill plus cheese for your apps. This diversified, sustainable dairy farm and creamery making farmstead cheeses from their grass-fed cows’ milk aged on the farm. Their meats are raised without hormones, antibiotics or steroids. The stand is small, but the flavor is big. Stop by and check them out.
Christopher Soaps – All-natural, essential oil, vegan soaps and body butter handcrafted in small batches. Their natural “Goodbye Mosquitos” soap is much loved and perfect to keep the mosquitos away while making s’mores. Special price $5/bar or 10/$40. Their soaps also make perfect gifts.
Dogwood Farms – In addition to fruits and vegetables grown on their Liberty Corner, NJ farm they offer sauces, salsas and bloody mary mix made from farm fresh ingredients. Don’t forget to take a look in the cooler for pestos, ravioli, fresh mozzarella, eggs and more.
La Piazza Gelateria – Gelato in half-pint and pint containers with more than 10 flavors offered each week. By popular demand, his legendary marinara and vodka sauces, tomato basil salad dressing and pasta fagioli soup are also available. Try a gelato sample. Choosing a favorite flavor is the hard part.
Happy Bellies Jars – Jams, jellies and fruit butter. Perfect for spreading on bread and drizzling over cheese.
Hometown Microgreens – Microgreens have 40% more nutrients than their adult form. Add to their homegrown summer salads or your favorite meats, sauces and sandwiches. Garnish a meal and look like a pro. Also offered is Pine Coast small-batch kombucha, rich in probiotics.
Peck Farms – Straight from their farm in Holmdel, seasonal fruits and vegetables and potted plants for your home. They are not to be missed.
Picklelicious –Old style pickles from their family to yours. Varieties of pickles both whole and chips, olives, sauerkraut, marinated mushrooms, peppers, and more. Certified kosher.
SoGood Guacamole – Fresh Guacamole made on site. Purchase with a bag of their thick homemade corn chips and get the party started.
