Winter Holiday Lighting Tonight!
WHEN: Wednesday, December 6, 2023
TIME: 6:30pm
WHERE: Marlboro Town Hall (1979 Township Drive)
Dear Resident,
Please join us as we celebrate the holiday season with our annual Winter Holiday Lighting on Wednesday, December 6 at 6:30pm. We gather in front of Town Hall for seasonal stories, music and, of course, we light our Christmas Tree and Menorah to kick off the holiday season.
Following the lighting, we come inside to enjoy holiday music by the Marlboro High School musicians led by Conductor Ippolito. We indulge in our famous Dessert Buffet Extravaganza and you do not want to miss our winter wonderland.
Special guests have graciously taken time out from their busy holiday schedule and are ready for photo ops in Santa’s Workshop.
Santa and friends will be making their list and checking it twice, so bring your wish list and drop it in our ‘North Pole Mailbox’. (The Santa mailbox will be available outside the Rec Center until December 11.)
During the season, we continue our ‘Marlboro Gives Back’ program with two ways to give. Our Toy Drive, in partnership with Toys for Tots, is ongoing through December 14. New, unwrapped toys may be brought to either the Rec Center or Town Hall. Donation bins will be available during the Holiday Lighting. A Gift Card Drive will benefit Arms Wide Open Childhood Cancer Foundation. The Snowflake Wish Tree is available at the rec center now through December 15.
The program and the lighting takes place outside in front of Town Hall so please dress for the weather. The flyers for the event and donation are below. We look forward to seeing you Wednesday at our Winter Holiday Lighting.
Yours in Community,
Mayor Jon Hornik
