RE: Rabies Clinics and Pet Licensing
As previously announced, the annual Marlboro rabies vaccine clinic has been postponed due to State of Emergency. However, we fully understand and appreciate that residents are attempting to vaccinate and license their pets in a timely fashion. Therefore, in conjunction with the Monmouth County Board of Health, the Monmouth County SPCA will be offering FREE rabies clinics through the month of June.
All clinics will be held at the Monmouth County SPCA located at 260 Wall Street in Eatontown. The dates and times are as follows:
Thursday June 4th (9am – 11am)
Wednesday June 10th (9am – 11am)
Thursday June 11th (1pm – 3pm) & (4pm – 6pm)
Wednesday June 17th (9am – 11am)
Thursday June 18th (1pm – 3pm)
In an effort to maintain social distancing and protect their staff and clients, an appointment is required and the MCSPCA will be using curbside service with minimal contact. To make an appointment call (732) 542-3125. For more, view their FLYER.
For any Marlboro residents that have already remitted payment for their 2020 licenses, the Township will be coordinating with the MCSPCA to track when those pets have been vaccinated, and we will mail the license to you.
If you have not yet licensed your pet in 2020, we remind you that the licenses are required by state law and must be received by July 1 to avoid a fine. The pet license form is available on the Township website HERE. License registrations and payment can be sent via US Mail, placed in the Town Hall Drop Box (Indicate ‘Pet License’ on the envelope. No cash, please), or on-line HERE.
If you have any questions about your pet license, please call 732-536-0100 Ext. 1410 or email
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this time.
