ROAD TO REMAIN OPEN – CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY – POLICE PRESENT

All construction from 7am until 5pm unless stated otherwise

Murray Hill Terrace - Monday (7/8) the contractor’s crew will be performing test pit operations between Clubhouse Lane and Peasley Drive. 

Buckthorne Court – Tuesday (7/9) the contractor’s crew will be on Buckthorn Court performing mill and pave operations. 

Topanemus Road – Tuesday (7/9) the contractor’s crew will be on Topenamus Road performing mill and pave operations in the vicinity of Julian Way. 

CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY – POLICE PRESENT

Overnight Road Construction 7pm – 6am

Hartman Road - Wednesday (7/10) the contractor’s crew will be on Hartman Road performing mill and pave operations. Road to remain open. 

Union Hill Road (ROAD CLOSED) - Thursday (7/11) and Friday (7/12) construction crews will be on Union Hill Road performing mill and pave operations between Tennent Road and Menzel Lane.  The road will be open during the day. 

Menzel Lane (ROAD CLOSED) - Thursday (7/11) and  Friday (7/12), construction crews will be on Menzel Lane performing mill and pave operations between Tennent Road and the school driveway.  The road will be open during the day.

UPCOMING ROAD PROJECTS

Robertsville Road - Marlboro has received funding from the NJ DOT Municipal Aid Program for the Robertsville Road improvement project (Manalapan to Freehold border) in the amount of $209,528.  This project includes the milling, reconstruction and overlay of the existing roadway surface along with drainage improvements, installation of ADA curb ramps and detectable warning surfaces, traffic striping, the reconstruction of all inlets and stormwater management improvements. The project is currently in the design phase and construction is anticipated by Spring 2025.

Ticetown Road - Marlboro has been selected to receive funding from the NJ DOT Municipal Aid Program for the Ticetown Road improvement project in the amount of $246,850.  This project includes the milling, reconstruction and overlay of the existing roadway surface along with drainage improvements, installation of ADA curb ramps and detectable warning surfaces, traffic striping, the reconstruction of all inlets and stormwater management improvements. The project is currently in the design phase and 2024 construction is anticipated.

Harbor Road -  Roadway improvements on Harbor Road between Tennent Road and Route 79 are anticipated to begin this Spring with final paving to be completed in the Summer of 2024.  Harbor Road will be closed while the contractor is on site with detours in place, during which time Police Officers will be on site to assist motorists.

School Road East -  The resurfacing of School Road East between Brushneck Road and the Colts Neck border is scheduled to be completed in the Summer of 2024.  Upon issuance of permits from the NJDEP, the remainder of the roadway between Brushneck Road and Dutch Lane will be resurfaced in coordination with stream cleaning and other drainage improvements.  School Road East will be closed while the contractor is on site with detours in place, during which time Police Officers will be on site to assist motorists.
