ROAD TO REMAIN OPEN – CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY – POLICE PRESENT

Note that Construction will halt early to mid-afternoon Friday for the Holiday

Quebec Road and Maple Street – Monday (9/11) from 7am to 5pm construction crews will be on Quebec Road and Maple Street performing milling and resurfacing work.  

Truman Drive and Ciafardini Court - Monday (9/11) through Tuesday (9/12) from 7am-5pm, construction crews will be on Truman Drive performing concrete curb ramp reconstruction along with the removal and replacement of concrete curb as required.  Wednesday (9/13) from 7am-5pm, construction crews will be on Truman Drive and Ciafardini Court performing milling and resurfacing work.  

Church Road and Gordons Corner Road - Tuesday (9/12) from 7am-5pm, construction crews will be on Church Road and Gordons Corner Road performing milling and resurfacing work.

Hastings Road - Wednesday (9/13) from 7am-5pm, construction crews will be on Hastings Road performing concrete curb and sidewalk restoration as required.  

Carter Drive and Merle Court - Wednesday (9/13) through Friday (9/15) from 7am-5pm, construction crews will be on Carter Drive and Merle Court performing concrete curb ramp reconstruction along with the removal and replacement of concrete curb as required.  

Amboy Road and Tennent Road - Thursday (9/14) from 7am-5pm, construction crews will be on Amboy Road and Tennent Road performing milling and resurfacing work.  

Harrington – Wednesday (9/13) through Friday (9/15) from 7am- 5pm, construction crews will are expected to begin performing milling/paving.

 

LLOYD ROAD WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT

Police Present – Intermittent Lane Closures

UPDATE - The Marlboro Township Water Utility Division continues improvements to the Water Distribution System to ensure the continued reliable supply of potable water to its customers.  A Project began on April 5, 2023 to replace the water main along Lloyd Road between Route 79 and the Aberdeen Township border.  The project generally consists of full water main replacement including all applicable valves and fire hydrants.  The construction crews will be working on the connections at intersections.  This project is anticipated to last through fall. 

UPCOMING – FUNDED IN PART BY NJDOT GRANT

 

Ryan Road - Mayor Jon Hornik and the Township Council are pleased to announce that Marlboro has been selected to receive funding from the NJ DOT Municipal Aid Program for the Ryan Road improvement project in the amount of $251,900.  More to follow.
