UPCOMING ROAD PROJECTS

Robertsville Road - Marlboro has received funding from the NJ DOT Municipal Aid Program for the Robertsville Road improvement project (Manalapan to Freehold border) in the amount of $209,528.  This project includes the milling, reconstruction and overlay of the existing roadway surface along with drainage improvements, installation of ADA curb ramps and detectable warning surfaces, traffic striping, the reconstruction of all inlets and stormwater management improvements. The project is currently in the design phase and construction is anticipated by spring 2025.

Ticetown Road - Marlboro has been selected to receive funding from the NJ DOT Municipal Aid Program for the Ticetown Road improvement project in the amount of $246,850.  This project includes the milling, reconstruction and overlay of the existing roadway surface along with drainage improvements, installation of ADA curb ramps and detectable warning surfaces, traffic striping, the reconstruction of all inlets and stormwater management improvements. The project is currently in the design phase.

School Road East (update) - Please be advised that, due to constraints of the 90-day trench settlement period, it has been expressed to us by New Jersey Natural Gas and their paving subcontractor, JF Kiely, that the paving of their portion of School Road East will be delayed until the spring.  Their work on School Road East extended well into September, and Kiely is not comfortable paving the roadway before the end of the year.  With that being said, paving of the remaining section of School Road East from Warren Drive to the Colts Neck border will be performed in the spring in conjunction with the NJNG work.

The scheduled time frame for roadwork is weather-dependent, and every effort will be made to minimize any inconvenience to residents during this time.  Please call Marlboro Traffic and Safety at 732-536-0304 with further inquiries.
