TRAFFIC ADVISORY – STATE ROUTE HIGHWAY 79
NIGHT-TIME ROAD CLOSURE AND DETOUR
AREA OF MAPLE TREE PLAZA AND OLD MILL ROAD

WHAT: Please note that the NJ Department of Transportation approved a night-time road closure on Route 79 from 8:30 pm until 6:00 am. The construction and road closure will begin Thursday, June 23 and be in effect from Sunday through Thursday nights for the next 25 days.  Note, no work will take place over July 4 weekend. 

DETOUR: The intersection of Route 79 and Ryan Road will be closed to thru traffic. Vehicles will be directed to make a right onto Ryan Road to Robertsville Road a left turn onto Robertsville Road and a left turn onto East Freehold Road bringing drivers back out onto State Highway 79. If traveling North on State Highway 79 the detour is reversed. Detour signage is in place and Police Officers will be on site to assist motorists. 

Maple Tree Plaza will be coned off at all entrances and exits on State Highway 79 and vehicles are to use the Old Mill Road side entrance and exit.     

The scheduled time frame for roadwork is weather-dependent, and every effort will be made to minimize any inconvenience to residents during this time.  Please use caution in the work zone and follow officer instructions and detour signage.  Please call Marlboro Traffic and Safety at 732-536-0304 with further inquiries.
