Winter Storm 4
Update #2
Dear Resident,
Marlboro’s Office of Emergency Management continues to monitor two storm systems, the first of which is forecasted to bring some mixed precipitation to our area beginning tonight during the overnight hours. A coating up to an inch of sleet and snow accumulation is projected. Marlboro Public Works stands ready to mobilize de-icing crews as needed.
The second system is forecasted to begin late Monday night during the overnight hours into Tuesday. This system will bring a mix of precipitation as well, starting off as rain or sleet. The storm has the potential to bring 1-3 inches of snow accumulation according to the National Weather Service’s most recent update.
In the meantime, we again remind you that it is important to ensure that the Township has as many ways to reach you as possible. Please take a moment to visit www.marlboro-nj.gov and click on ‘communications for Residents’ on the right:
Register your home and cell phones are registered for Police emergency SWIFT 911 (most house phones do not work in a power outage).
Register for Town email alerts (if you are receiving this letter via email than you are registered).
Follow the Township official social media pages Facebook @marlborotownship and Twitter @marlborotwp
We will continue to follow the storm system forecasts and report back with updates as they become available. Winter Storm #4/Update 1 is linked below. Thank you for your cooperation.
