Message from the Marlboro Office of Emergency Management (OEM)

Due to winter weather activity, the OEM has SUSPENDED ALL CURBSIDE BRUSH PICKUP UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. No brush or other lawn debris may be placed curbside.

Please note that Christmas Tree pickup will continue during the weeks of January 9 and 16. Curbside recycling pickup will continue as scheduled and the Recycling Center is open regularly scheduled hours. Details can be found in the 2017 Recycling Calendar HERE.

We remind you not to shovel or blow snow into the street; it creates icing and dangerous conditions. Please blow/shovel snow onto your lawn. The United States Postal Service asks customers to clear enough snow from their mailboxes to allow mail trucks to approach the box, deliver the mail and drive away. If a fire hydrant is located on your property, it should be cleared of snow to prevent the lines from freezing and allow access in case of fire. Please also remember that NJ State law requires that your vehicle be cleared of all ice and snow before driving.

Question or concerns regarding snow removal should be directed to the Department of Public Works at 732-536-0188 or an email sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

The OEM will notify residents via Township email and Social Media when the suspension is lifted. In the meantime, thank you in advance for your cooperation and assistance.

Lt. Christopher Cherbini, Acting Coordinator
Marlboro Office of Emergency Management
