Winter Weather Events – Update #1
Dear Resident,
The Marlboro Office of Emergency Management (OEM) has been monitoring multiple winter weather events, the first of which will likely impact us beginning on Tuesday and continuing into Wednesday. The National Weather Service (NWS) briefing as of 5:00 am today advises that between 1 and 4 inches of snow will fall in the I-95 and I-78 corridor in which we are located. As always, there remains substantial uncertainty about the precipitation totals in this region of the state.
Note that the NWS is also forecasting yet another weather system to impact our area beginning as a “wintry mix” on Wednesday and ending as rain on Thursday.
We will continue to monitor the weather forecast and keep you updated as needed via email, social media channels and the Township website.
Thank you.
Mayor Jon Hornik
