Weekend Update

Dear Resident,

If one is to believe Punxsutawney Phil, we can expect six more weeks of winter. And, in fact, as I write this letter, our Office of Emergency Management (OEM) has been activated to prepare for a winter storm bringing rain, ice and snow to our region.  While it certainly feels like winter, the good news is that we have entered solar spring, the quarter of the year with the most rapid gain in daylight.

I want to again take this opportunity to remind residents to take time to plan and prepare. While we have been fortunate close to home, we have recently witnessed disasters throughout our country, from fires on the west coast to hurricanes and tornados. The time to prepare is before disaster strikes.  Please visit our OEM webpage with important links and preparedness information including for the elderly, those with special needs, children and pets. Lean more HERE.
