Weekend Update
Dear Resident,
Over Presidents Day weekend, we had a High Wind Warning, bringing damaging winds, heavy rain, cold temperatures and power outages. I want to thank our Police, First Aid, Fire Public Works, and JCP&L lineman who worked round the clock to remove trees from power lines, open roads, restore power and keep us safe. One neighborhood and even street can be on different circuits. For that reason, it is important that you report your outage to JCP&L, even if you believe your neighbor has done so. Additionally, by reporting your outage JCP&L will call/text to confirm when your power has been restored.
I take these opportunities to remind residents that the time to plan and prepare is before an emergency strikes. Visit our Office of Emergency website and make a kit and a plan with your family.
