Weekend Update

Dear Resident,

We remain under a Heat Advisory until 6am Saturday and an Excessive Heat Watch from Saturday morning through Sunday evening.  Please review the letter sent earlier this week for important information and websites.  HERE Keep your eye on local weather forecasts.

The Marlboro Farmers Market is open on Sunday 9am – 1pm. Shop our 29 vendors. We will be hosting Coffee with a Cop from 9:30 to 11:30. Grab a cold brew from Bean Muggin and chat with one of Marlboro’s Finest! Updates and more are shared to social media @MarlboroFarmersMarket.  Notice of weekly vendors are made to social media and our website HERE  (Note – as always, should OEM determine that the Market should close early, notice will be made to social media).

Coffee with a Cop at the Marlboro Farmers Market – This Sunday, from 9am – 11:30am enjoy a cup of coffee and conversation with some of Marlboro’s Officers. 

Marlboro Swim Club Open House – Join us June 22 from noon- 4pm as our guest.  See what the MSC has to offer! FLYER

National Night Out - Marlboro Police will again hold the annual National Night Out on August 6 and is looking for businesses to participate.  This is a great opportunity to showcase your business.  Give-a-ways, crafts, games, samples, flyers are all welcome.  Note no items for sale are permitted and there is no fee to participate.  For more, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. Marlboro Day – Our 40th annual Marlboro Day will be held on September 8 and sponsor and vendor opportunities are available now.  Don’t wait as this event fills quickly.  Marlboro Day welcomes thousands of visitors and is a great opportunity to promote your business.  FLYER

TOWN MEETINGS

All Town meetings are posted on the Township website ‘Upcoming Events’ Calendar linked HERE.  Agendas, where applicable, are posted to the website not less than 48 hours in advance of the meeting and are linked to the calendar event.  The following Council/Planning/Zoning meetings are upcoming. Other meetings can be found on the calendar.  From time to time, meetings are cancelled and notice is posted to the calendar event.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

COVID-19 Ratepayer Measures provide relief to ratepayers experiencing economic hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The NJ Department of Community Affairs has developed a low income household water assistance program.  Please review the letter from the Marlboro Water Utility HERE.

Please note that Recreation Camp opens Monday morning.  Please expect and prepare for additional traffic especially in the area of Wyncrest Road/Recreation Center as parents drop off/pickup.
