Weekend Update

Dear Resident,

This weekend we welcome the 36th annual Marlboro Soccer Association (MSA) Kick-Off Classic. The turf field in the Municipal Complex will be closed to the public Friday morning through Monday Morning.  Teams and their families from around the tri-state area will be travelling between soccer fields. Please expect extra traffic, leave more time and slow down.  We wish the best of luck to all the teams and congratulate the MSA on another successful year. 

The Marlboro Farmers Market is open Sunday, August 25 from 9am - 1pm.   Shop local produce, flowers, cheese, beverages and more.  Notice of weekly vendors and market updates are shared to social media @MarlboroFarmersMarket and our website HERE .

Marlboro Day – Today is the last day to register to be a sponsor or vendor at our 40th annual Marlboro Day to be held on September 8.  Marlboro Day welcomes thousands of visitors and is a great opportunity to promote your business.  FLYER SIGNUP/DIRECTIONS

PUBLIC NOTICES

Tax/Water On-Line Payment Portal - Please be advised that the online payment portal will be unavailable from Friday, August 23 to Wednesday, August 28. Thank you for your patience while the Township transitions to a new payment portal with expanded capabilities. Payments can be made via check in the 24-hour drop box or by check or cash during business hours.  Questions may be directed to 732-536-0200 ext. 1805. Thank you for your patience. 

ANCHOR Program – The State Treasury Department has sent notification letters to residents eligible for automatic payments.  If any information has changed you must file a new application by September 15, 2024. Later this month, the state will be sending out information via US mail in an effort to reach all who may be eligible.  For eligibility, filing requirements and more, visit NJ ANCHOR program.

PUBLIC SAFETY

Carbon Monoxide Safety – Marlboro Fire Bureau informs residents that Carbon Monoxide can be deadly. Learn more about the ‘Invisible Killer’ HERE

Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT) -Work with law enforcement to provide confidential support to domestic violence victims at police headquarters. Free training is provided.  Fall training dates to begin in October. FLYER.

All Town meetings are posted on the Township website ‘Upcoming Events’ Calendar linked HERE.  Agendas, where applicable, are posted to the website not less than 48 hours in advance of the meeting and are linked to the calendar event.  The following Council/Planning/Zoning meetings are upcoming. ANNOUNCEMENTS

COVID-19 Ratepayer Measures provide relief to ratepayers experiencing economic hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The NJ Department of Community Affairs has developed a low income household water assistance program.  Please review the letter from the Marlboro Water Utility HERE.

We do our best to provide accurate road construction updates, but sometimes plans change.  Whether it's unexpected weather, emergency situations, contractor or outside agencies schedule changes, plans can shift.
