Weekend Update – Labor Day Edition

The summer flew by and Labor Day Weekend is here. Please note that Town Hall and the Recycling Center are closed on Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day. Many Town Services are available on line. Please check our website for details. The Police are open 24/7 and can be reached at 732-536-0100. Emergencies dial 911.
The Marlboro Farmers Market will be open and ready for your BBQ needs. Join us Sunday, August 1 from 9am - 1pm. Shop local produce, flowers, cheese, meats, beer and spirits, bread, baked goods, gelato and more. EVENTS/PROGRAMS
Marlboro Day – Sunday, September 8 from noon - 5 is our 40th annual Marlboro Day. Our largest event of the year features vendors, food trucks, inflatables, food trucks, entertainment, petting zoo, pony rides and more. A day for the whole family! Free shuttles will be available from locations throughout the town. FLYER
Marlboro Patriot Day Wreath Laying Ceremony – Please join us on Wednesday, September 11 at 8:30am as we pay tribute to and remember the Marlboro residents and all those that lost their lives that fateful day. We are honored to be joined by Marlboro HS musicians, local dignitaries and clergy along with Marlboro Police, First Aid and Fire Departments. All are welcome. INVITATION

NJ Transit Fare Holiday - NJ Transit announces a Fare holiday through 9/2. Fares will be waived for all modes of transportation, offering free rides across the NJ TRANSIT network. Monthly pass customers will receive a 25% discount on their September monthly pass. For additional details and information visit njtransit.com/fare-holiday A reminder that parking is FREE at the 3 Marlboro Permit lots weekdays (6:30 pm to 4:30 am) and Saturday and Sunday. (fee still applies at daily lot).
Tax/Water On-Line Payment Portal – We are pleased to announce that our new Tax/Water payment portal is now on line. To save accounts, store payment methods and schedule payments, register as a ‘New User’. You may also use the on-line system without registering. Payment by check or cash remains the same. Message from the Office of Chief Pezzullo - As always, lock your car doors, take the key fobs inside, remove garage door openers, lock your house doors/windows and set alarms. Do not leave your keys easily visible/accessible. If you see anything out of place or suspicious call the police at 732-536-0100. For crimes in progress dial 911. Agendas, where applicable, are posted to the website not less than 48 hours in advance of the meeting and are linked to the calendar event. COVID-19 Ratepayer Measures provide relief to ratepayers experiencing economic hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic. The NJ Department of Community Affairs has developed a low income household water assistance program. Please review the letter from the Marlboro Water Utility HERE.
