Weekend Update
Dear Resident,
Thank you to everyone who came and enjoyed our Holiday Lighting. The rain held off until we were inside enjoying the abundance of desserts donated by our sponsors: Wegmans, Food Emporium, Chartwells, ShopRite and Whole Foods. We are grateful to Clergy who attended from Jireh Church, Monmouth Worship Center, Muslim Center, Marlboro Jewish Center, Temple Shaari Emeth, and Center for Jewish Life which donates the Menorah each year. Their support and presence add meaning to our multicultural celebration. Of course, the Marlboro High School musicians led by Conductor Ippolito made our celebration special.
As always this event takes a team. Thank you to Department of Public Works, Recreation, Administration, and Police along with members of the Teen Advisory Committee and Police Cadets. Our appreciation to Marlboro Fire Department for ensuring that Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived safely during their very busy season.
Please note the Township Holiday schedule. Town Hall and the Recycling Center are closed on December 25 and January 1. Zone 6 recycling (Scheduled for 12/25) will be collected on 12/28. Zone 2 recycling (scheduled for 1/1) will be collected on 1/4. Please place items curbside by 7am.
