Weekend Update
Dear Resident,
I we head into August, I hope everyone is having an opportunity to enjoy the summer months. I have visited the Marlboro Farmers Market almost every Sunday to stock up on guacamole, pickles, and produce and it is great to see so many neighbors spending time at the market shopping and visiting. The Marlboro Swim Club is open through Labor Day and mid-season reduced memberships begin this Saturday. Movie nights and National Night Out are upcoming. More on all of this below.
ANNUAL TAX BILLS - The annual tax bills have been mailed and the grace period for 3rd quarter property taxes due August 1st, has been extended to August 26th. Please note that interest charges on payments made after the grace period are calculated back to the August 1st due date pursuant to statutory law. Please see the letter from the Tax Collector HERE.
RECYCLING NOTICE FOR CHURCH ROAD (Zone 6) (Carlton to Georgian Bay) - Due to Church Road closure recycling scheduled for pickup Wednesday will be collected Saturday. TOWNSHIP EVENTS
Back Yard Movie Night Friday, July 30 – Grab chairs, blankets, and movie snacks and join us under the stars for ‘Cool Runnings’. Seating at the Recreation Amphitheater begins at 7:45 pm and the movie begins at dusk. No pets or alcohol, please. Social distancing encouraged. This event is free and no registration is required. Marlboro Swim Club Mid-Season Rates Begin July 31 – Need a change of scenery from the back yard? Camp almost over? Memberships for residents and non-residents and for seniors, singles and families. National Night Out Tuesday, August 3 – Spend the evening outside with your neighbors and Marlboro Police Officers from 6-8pm at the Marlboro Municipal Complex.

Landscaper Registration - A reminder that all landscapers who do work for hire in Marlboro Township must register with the Township. We ask for your assistance in informing your landscaper. MORE
COVID UPDATE
Every eligible person who wants a vaccine can get one at no cost, even if you do not have health insurance. If you are in need of assistance, please let us know.
VACCINE APPOINTMENTS – As we plan to go back to school, we remind you that COVID-19 vaccinations are available for those aged 12 and up. If you need assistance for a homebound/special needs resident, or transportation to/from your vaccine appointment, please email my office at

Marlboro continues to trend well-above state vaccination percents. Those with one dose as of July 23, 2021:
All ages: 80% (up from 66% 6/25)
Age 18+: 85% (up from 80% 6/25)
Age 65+: 99% (up from 95% 6/25)
