WINTER STORM WARNING – Update #4

Dear Resident,

Good morning.  We are about midway through a storm predicted to last about 40 hours.  A band of heavy snow is likely to fall today and our snow totals will depend the placement of the band.  Winds are also expected to increase.

Please note the following storm updates:

  1. Brush Pickup, scheduled to begin in zones 3 and 5 this morning, is postponed.  No brush should be placed curbside until further notice.  The updated schedule will be sent via email.
  2. The Township Recycling Center is closed today and Wednesday.
  3. The State Department of Transportation has issued a memo authorizing the removal of any abandoned or disabled vehicles on state or interstate roadways.
  4. Monmouth County offices are closed today as are the County Vaccination clinics.
  5. All of the State Vaccine mega-sites are closed today.

The Marlboro Division of Police are available 24/7 and can be reached at 732-536-0100.  Emergencies dial 911.  Please do not call the police for snow updates.  They do not have additional information and it is vital that their lines stay open for emergencies.

Prior updates, including contact information in the event of power outages, are linked below.  I hope that everyone who is able is home and safe, leaving the streets clear for snow plows and first responders.
