RE: Power Outage

Dear Resident,

JCP&L has reported a power outage currently affecting approximately 1,746 homes (approximately 1,254 have been restored).  If you have not yet reported your outage to JCP&L, please do so to receive Estimated Times of Restoration for your home as well as ensuring that your home is not erroneously noted as having power restored.  Call 1-888-LIGHTSS (1-888-544-4877), or click the “Report Outage” link on www.firstenergycorp.com, or by texting OUT to 544487.    

Marlboro Police inform residents that some traffic lights may not be operational and to proceed with caution.  Assume all downed wires are alive and dangerous. Report to the Marlboro Division of Police at 732-536-0100 to report. 

We ask that you do not call the Police to ask for power restoration updates.  They do not have access to that information and it is vital that their lines remain open for emergencies.
