Weekend Update
Dear Resident,
Marlboro’s 10th Annual winter Holiday Lighting was a great success as hundreds of residents braved the cold to celebrate the season together. A special thanks to the Marlboro High School musicians who made the night extra special with their talents, Clergy who brought us words of compassion and community, and Rabbi Kanelski from Center for Jewish Life for donating the Menorah. As always, it takes a team to bring an event like this to life. The Marlboro Police ensured our safety, Public Works set up the tree, menorah and dessert room, and Recreation decorated our Winter Wonderland. Our volunteer First Responders and CERT were present, as always. Teen volunteer Police Cadets assisted with parking and traffic flow and the Teen Advisory Committee (TAC) served dessert. Our overflowing dessert tables could not happen without the generous donations from our community partners. I ask you to join me in thanking Platinum sponsors Wegmans and Whole Foods and Gold sponsors Food Emporium and Chartwells. Please thank them when you patronize their businesses.
My favorite part of the night is the excitement of the children as the sirens blare and Santa rides in on a Marlboro Fire Truck. We are very grateful that Santa, Mrs. Claus, Elf, and little Dreidel take time during their busy season to visit with the children for photo ops in our Winter Wonderland.
Programs are on-going for the holiday season with two ways to give back to those in need and our mailbox with a direct line to the North Pole. Please see below for more.
PUBLIC NOTICES
