Road CLOSED During Construction Hours

Route 520 and Gordons Corner Road (OVERNIGHT) – TONIGHT Friday (8/16) and again Monday (8/19) from approximately 7pm – 7am, the intersection of Route 520 and Gordons Corner Road will be closed for milling and paving.

Harbor Road – Monday – Wednesday (8/19, 8/20, 8/21)  from 7am-4pm, the contractor’s crew will be on Harbor Road performing drainage improvements between the Henry Hudson Trail and Route 79. 

School Road East – Thursday and Friday (8/22, 8/23) from 7am-4pm, New Jersey Natural Gas will be on School Road East performing gas main replacement between Warren Drive and Oak Lane. 

Lloyd Road (OVERNIGHT) - Friday (8/23) from 6pm-6am, the contractor’s crew will be on Lloyd Road performing mill and pave operations between Route 79 and the Aberdeen border. 

 

CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY – ROAD OPEN

All construction from 7am until 5pm unless stated otherwise

 

Murray Hill - Friday (8/23) from 7am-5pm, the contractor’s crew will be on Murray Hill Road performing drainage installations between Clubhouse Lane and Peasley Drive as well as the reconstruction of concrete curb ramps at all intersections. 

UPCOMING ROAD PROJECTS

Robertsville Road - Marlboro has received funding from the NJ DOT Municipal Aid Program for the Robertsville Road improvement project (Manalapan to Freehold border) in the amount of $209,528.  This project includes the milling, reconstruction and overlay of the existing roadway surface along with drainage improvements, installation of ADA curb ramps and detectable warning surfaces, traffic striping, the reconstruction of all inlets and stormwater management improvements. The project is currently in the design phase and construction is anticipated by spring 2025.

Ticetown Road - Marlboro has been selected to receive funding from the NJ DOT Municipal Aid Program for the Ticetown Road improvement project in the amount of $246,850.  This project includes the milling, reconstruction and overlay of the existing roadway surface along with drainage improvements, installation of ADA curb ramps and detectable warning surfaces, traffic striping, the reconstruction of all inlets and stormwater management improvements. The project is currently in the design phase and 2024 construction is anticipated.

Harbor Road - Roadway improvements on Harbor Road between Tennent Road and Route 79 are underway with final paving to be completed in the Summer of 2024.  At times, Harbor Road will be closed while the contractor is on site with detours in place, during which time Police Officers will be on site to assist motorists.

School Road East - The resurfacing of School Road East between Brushneck Road and the Colts Neck border is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2024.  Upon issuance of permits from the NJDEP, the remainder of the roadway between Brushneck Road and Dutch Lane will be resurfaced in coordination with stream cleaning and other drainage improvements.  School Road East will be closed while the contractor is on site with detours in place, during which time Police Officers will be on site to assist motorists.
