Weekend Update
Dear Resident,
I often speak of ‘Weathering the Storm’ and that was certainly true these past two weeks. We received 6.76” of rain by the time Debby passed, the highest in Monmouth County. This Monday, we had a water main break at the intersection of Gordons Corner and 520 necessitating detours and a repair that took more than 12 hours. ‘Storms’ can take many forms and it bears repeating that preparation is key. Please visit our OEM webpage for more.
The weather cleared for the weekend and more 1,000 people came out to enjoy ‘Dog Days of Summer’ at the Marlboro Farmers Market. Many brought their dogs; some in costume! We celebrate week 2 of Dog Days of Summer this Sunday with a Husky Adoption event and with dogs to play with, special dog treat deals and kids crafts. All that and nearly 30 vendors to shop with local produce, flowers, cheese, beverages and more. The market is open from 9am – 1pm every Sunday. Notice of weekly vendors and market updates are shared to social media @MarlboroFarmersMarket and our website HERE .
