CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY – ROAD CLOSED – DETOUR IN PLACE - POLICE PRESENT

School Road East – Thursday and Friday (10/17, 10/18) from 7am-5pm, contractor will be on School Road East performing concrete curb installation between Warren Drive and the guiderail to the north.

CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY – NEW TRAFFIC PATTERN - ROAD OPEN

All construction from 7am until 5pm unless stated otherwise

Texas Road - Wednesday (10/16), the Township’s contractor will be at various intersections along Texas Road installing/updating striping and signage designating 4-way stops at Texas Road/Wooleytown Road and Texas Road/Greenwood Road.  Additionally, Texas Road speed limit is now 35MPH. Please drive carefully. 

UPCOMING ROAD PROJECTS

Robertsville Road - Marlboro has received funding from the NJ DOT Municipal Aid Program for the Robertsville Road improvement project (Manalapan to Freehold border) in the amount of $209,528.  This project includes the milling, reconstruction and overlay of the existing roadway surface along with drainage improvements, installation of ADA curb ramps and detectable warning surfaces, traffic striping, the reconstruction of all inlets and stormwater management improvements. The project is currently in the design phase and construction is anticipated by spring 2025.

Ticetown Road - Marlboro has been selected to receive funding from the NJ DOT Municipal Aid Program for the Ticetown Road improvement project in the amount of $246,850.  This project includes the milling, reconstruction and overlay of the existing roadway surface along with drainage improvements, installation of ADA curb ramps and detectable warning surfaces, traffic striping, the reconstruction of all inlets and stormwater management improvements. The project is currently in the design phase.

Harbor Road – The underground utility work has been completed and we are awaiting the trenches to settle before paving. Road repaving is anticipated within three weeks. 

School Road East - The underground utility work has been completed and we are awaiting the trenches to settle before paving. Road repaving is anticipated within three weeks.
