RE: Township Volunteer Opportunities
Dear Neighbor,
I put a call out for volunteers when I was first elected and the response was overwhelming. We continue to seek out volunteers as vacancies open up on boards and committees, and the response remains as strong as ever. As we enter a new year and a new decade, we are again putting out the call.
Below is a link to the list of Township Boards and Committees with current vacancies, a description of each committee and, if applicable, a link to their webpage. All applications, unless otherwise noted, require the completion of the Citizens Service Act (CSA) form. Both the Volunteer Opportunities and the CSA are linked below. In addition to the CSA, it is helpful, but not necessary, to include a resume or a letter of interest (email to
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
CITIZENS SERVICE ACT FORM
There are committees to meet everyone’s interest and expertise. In addition to Township committees for adults and youth, our Volunteer Fire and First Aid Squads are always looking for eligible volunteers. If you have interest in a committee not listed, consider choosing another committee or complete the CSA and we will keep it on file.
As I have said countless times, I don’t care what political party you’re from or who you voted for. If you want to volunteer and have the best interest of Marlboro at heart, we have a spot for you.
Life is busy, so if you are not ready to apply for a committee now, the Township website has a volunteer section accessible throughout the year. You are welcome to apply at any time.
We could not have accomplished all that we have without the tireless effort and commitment of our volunteers. I am grateful for every person who takes time away from their businesses and their families and have worked together to make Marlboro such a great place to live and raise a family. I hope you will consider joining us. For more information, please call my office at 732-536-0200 ext. 1200 or send an email to
Yours in Community,
Mayor Jon Hornik
