Weekend Update

Dear Resident,

The remnants of Tropical Storm Debby is making its way north.  At the writing of this letter, the brunt of the storm is expected to stay west of our area however still bringing rain and the potential for flooding. A wind advisory for today (Friday) from 6am -11pm is now in effect.  It bears repeating that preparation is always key.  Please visit our Office of Emergency Management webpage for storm emails and links to important websites.

This Sunday, August 11, we have two Marlboro events for everyone to enjoy; Dog Days of Summer at the Marlboro Farmers Market from 9-1 and the summer Car Show and Concert at 5.

We are happy to bring back ‘Dog Days of Summer’ at the Marlboro Farmers Market on Sunday, 9am – 1pm.  Dogs on leashes are always welcome, but for the next two weeks our fur family is the star.  Castle of Dreams Animal Rescue will hold an adoption event (dogs on site) from 11-1. A Pet Portrait artist will be on site (think holidays) and our dog treat vendor will have special deals and a craft table for the kids.  All that and nearly 30 vendors to shop local produce, flowers, cheese, beverages and more.  Notice of weekly vendors and market updates are shared to social media @MarlboroFarmersMarket and our website HERE .

Sunday evening we have our much anticipated Car show and Concert.  The car show starts at 5pm in the Rec Center parking lot.  The concert featuring the ‘Steppin’ Out Band’ playing hits across the decades kicks off at the Rec Amphitheater at 6:30pm.  Bring chairs and blankets and enjoy what promises to be a beautiful summer night.  FLYER
