Message from the Municipal Clerk Regarding General Election Tuesday, November 5, 2024

To register to vote in Monmouth County, New Jersey, you must be:

• A United States citizen,

• At least 17 years old, though you may not vote until you have reached the age of 18,

• A resident of the state of New Jersey and Monmouth County for at least 30 days before the election in which you would like to vote,

• A person not serving a sentence of incarceration as the result of a conviction of any indictable offense under the laws of this or another state or of the United States.

Reasons to complete a Voter Registration Application Form:

• New Voter Registration
• Name Change
• Address Change
• Signature Update
• Political Party Affiliation (can also complete a Party Affiliation Declaration Form Party Affiliation Declaration Form and mailed to the Monmouth County Superintendent of Elections at 300 Halls Mills Road, Freehold, NJ 07728-9930)
• Request to Mail-In Ballot (can also be filed with an Application for Vote By Mail Ballot Application for Vote By Mail Ballot and mailed the Monmouth County Clerk at 300 Halls Mills Road, Freehold, NJ 07728-9930)

The registrant must complete a Voter Registration Application Form and mail or deliver to the Monmouth County Superintendent of Elections, 300 Halls Mills Road, Freehold, NJ 07728-9930.

Voter registration forms and Vote By Mail applications are also available in the Municipal Clerk's office. The registration deadline to vote in the next election is 21 days prior to the Election Day.

Removed Resident Application for Presidential Ballot - This application applies only to the General Election and is required for residents who have relocated outside of Monmouth County but have not met the residency requirement in their new location to vote in November.
