Weekend Update – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

This week Marlboro Emergency Medical Services (EMS) celebrated their extraordinary year and welcomed 2025 Operations and Administrative Officers.  The Marlboro EMS Cadet program is now open to high school freshman and sophomores.  The information session will be held on February 11.  To learn more and RSVP visit www.marlboro.EMS.org We are very grateful for their service to our community.  #StaffingMatters

Summer Camp Registration – Recreation camp registration opens for residents on February 5.  FLYER

Marlboro Recreation Summer 2025 Employment – Applications now being accepted for NEW applicants only.  (HERE) The application deadline is 2/10/25 to be guaranteed an interview.  Applications should be mailed or dropped off at the rec enter.  No email applications will be accepted.  Summer 2024 employees will be contacted by email. 

PUBLIC NOTICES

Commuter Parking Permit Renewals - The 2025-2026 commuter parking permit renewal period for Marlboro Township's commuter parking lots is now open. If you are a current permit holder, an email reminder has been sent to you.  Renewals must be completed on-line via the Township’s SDL Portal, on or before March 31, 2025. Paper applications are no longer accepted. Please find information on the renewal process here: https://www.marlboro-nj.gov/parking-permit-portal  If you are not a current permit holder, you can apply for a permit on April 1, 2025 when the new 2025-2026 permit year begins.

Christmas Tree & Bagged Leaf Curbside Collection COMPLETE – The scheduled collection will be completed by today. If you missed pickup, a reminder that bagged leaves, brush and Christmas Trees may be brought to the recycling center throughout the year with no permit or fee. To receive free leaf bags, please complete the on-line form HERE. Alternately, you may contact a private contractor to remove the debris. 

Brush Collection – Will begin by zone in February.  Please do not place brush curbside in advance as the OEM can reschedule/postpone any collection due to inclement weatherMore to follow. 

Recycling Calendar – The 2025 official recycling calendar is posted on the Township website. The only official calendar that can be relied upon for all collection information has a green and red cardstock cover.   CALENDAR

Bus Drivers –Marlboro school district is seeking bus drivers.  Training provided.  Call 732-972-2118 for more. 

PUBLIC SAFETY

Pet Licensing Portal OPEN – The portal is now open and ready to register your pets for 2025. If your pet was registered last year you will have received a renewal notice in the mail.  We remind you that every dog/cat over 6 months of age (or within 10 days of acquisition) must be registered every calendar year.  Registration may be completed on-line, by mail or in person. TOWN MEETINGS

All Town meetings are posted on the Township website ‘Upcoming Events’ Calendar linked HERE.  Agendas, where applicable, are posted to the website not less than 48 hours in advance of the meeting and are linked to the calendar event.  The following Council/Planning/Zoning meetings are upcoming. Other meetings can be found on the calendar.  From time to time, meetings are cancelled and notice is posted to the calendar event.
