It is cold outside, but summer is not far away. Registration for Recreation and Travel camps begin on February 5 at 7pm. Please use this time to ensure that your Community Pass account is up-to-date and accurate. More details to follow next week.

Marlboro Recreation Summer 2025 Employment – Applications now being accepted for NEW applicants only. (HERE) The application deadline is 2/10/25 to be guaranteed an interview. Applications should be mailed or dropped off at the rec enter. No email applications will be accepted. Summer 2024 employees will be contacted by email.

PUBLIC NOTICES
Property Taxes - First quarter property taxes must be received by Monday, February 10th to avoid interest. Note that interest charges on payments made after the grace period are calculated back to the February 1st due date. The Tax Collector’s office will have extended hours on Monday, February 10th from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. A drop box is located in the vestibule of Town Hall and is available 24/7. All payments left in the drop box by 6:00 pm on February 10th will be credited that day and will not be subject to interest. Read the Tax Collector’s letter HERE. The Township is now offering an additional way to pay your tax and utility bills. For information regarding enrollment in auto-pay, please visit the Township’s website at: HERE. Note that enrollment in auto-pay involves the imposition of fees levied by the Township’s third-party payment processor.
Commuter Parking Permit Renewals - The 2025-2026 commuter parking permit renewal period for Marlboro Township's commuter parking lots is now open. If you are a current permit holder, an email reminder has been sent to you. Renewals must be completed on-line via the Township’s SDL Portal, on or before March 31, 2025. Paper applications are no longer accepted. Please find information on the renewal process here: https://www.marlboro-nj.gov/parking-permit-portal If you are not a current permit holder, you can apply for a permit on April 1, 2025 when the new 2025-2026 permit year begins.
Brush Collection – Will begin by zone in February. Please do not place brush curbside in advance as the OEM can reschedule/postpone any collection due to inclement weather. More to follow. CALENDAR

PUBLIC SAFETY
Pet Licensing Portal OPEN – The portal is now open and ready to register your pets for 2025. If your pet was registered last year you will have received a renewal notice in the mail. We remind you that every dog/cat over 6 months of age (or within 10 days of acquisition) must be registered every calendar year. Registration may be completed on-line, by mail or in person. TOWN MEETINGS
All Town meetings are posted on the Township website ‘Upcoming Events’ Calendar linked HERE. Agendas, where applicable, are posted to the website not less than 48 hours in advance of the meeting and are linked to the calendar event. The following Council/Planning/Zoning meetings are upcoming. Other meetings can be found on the calendar. From time to time, meetings are cancelled and notice is posted to the calendar event.

The extreme cold is leaving, at least for the next week. Thank you to the Department of Public Works who was treating the roads throughout the night and to our Police and First Responders who answer our call 24/7.
