Weekend Update
Dear Resident,
As I write this letter, we are in the middle of a heat wave and a Heat Advisory remains in effect until 8pm Sunday. Please review my letter sent earlier this week to learn the signs of heat illness and how to take proper precautions. Do not leave children or pets unattended in your car even for a minute as temperatures can rise very quickly. Please review the letter HERE.
NJ Transit has chosen the Marlboro Airport as the site to test AVATAR (Autonomous Vehicle Assessment, Testing And Research) to improve community transportation in NJ and solve the ‘first-mile, last-mile’ transportation problem. This is an exciting program and we are pleased that the NJDOT has partnered with Marlboro and the Monmouth County Commissioners. We will continue to update you as the testing progresses. You are welcome to visit the site, but please do not enter the fenced area. You can learn more on the website at www.njtransit.com/avatar
