TWO WAYS TO VOTE BEFORE GENERAL ELECTION DAY

Vote by Mail (VBM) and Early Voting

It is expected that polling locations will be crowded on Election Day and so voters are encouraged to cast their ballot before Election Day either by Vote by Mail (VBM) ballot or on a machine at an Early Voting location.  Please see below for more.

Voter Registration Deadline – The deadline is October 15, 2024.  To register to vote, make changes to your registration or to confirm that you are registered, click HERE.

Vote-By-Mail (VBM) ballots – If you have opted to receive a VBM ballot, a ballot will have already been mailed to you.  If you have not requested a VBM ballot and would like to, you may do so until October 29 HERE.

  • How to Return Your VBM Ballot
    • Mail via US mail postmarked by 8pm on November 5
    • Place in any Monmouth County ballot box by 8pm on November 5. Marlboro’s ballot box is located in the municipal parking lot - 1979 Township Drive. Click HERE for other Monmouth County Ballot Box locations.
    • Hand deliver to the Monmouth County Board of Elections located at 300 Halls Mill Road, Freehold by 8pm on November 5

    • Missed the VBM October 29 deadline to apply for a mail-in ballot by mail? Go to the County Clerk of Elections Office, 300 Halls Mill Road by 3 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2024 to vote on site using a VBM ballot.

Early Voting - Vote on an actual voting machine, in person, prior to Election Day.  Early voting begins Saturday, October 26 through Sunday, November 3. Hours for early voting will be Monday-Saturday, 10am – 8pm and Sunday 10am – 6pm. You may vote at any location throughout Monmouth County.  Early Voting Locations

Of course, you may still vote at your polling location on Election Day, November 5, 2024. Please take this opportunity to check your voter registration, apply for a VBM ballot for you or your college student if they will be away and make a plan to vote.
